Relief and Recovery Fund at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital:

New York-Presbyterian Paramedics were one of the first crews to respond to the World Trade Center Emergency. They continue to participate in rescue efforts. The NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System, which includes 30 hospitals throughout the tri-state area, has received and treated over 500 patients during this week's World Trade Center Emergency.

The Relief and Recovery Fund at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has been established in response to the horrific events of September 11th. Gifts to the Fund will support the Hospital's Ambulance Service, which lost seven vehicles at the disaster site, and will also help support the Hospital's counseling outreach and other efforts to our patients and staff during this difficult time.

In the coming days, the Hospital will also be setting up a Fund for our employees and their families who have suffered a direct loss as a result of the tragedy. Gifts to the Relief and Recovery Fund should be sent to:

National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians:
The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), founded in 1975, serves as the voice for Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and EMS Officers. National Association of EMT's leadership and membership is comprised of EMTs, Paramedics and EMS Educators and Administrators.

The NAEMT's prime mission is to promote professionalism and future advancement of EMS and support to the EMT, Paramedic, EMS Educator and EMS Administrator.
